PALA cutting board

The Pala Cutting Board is made from composite and solid wood. Pala is a product which combines two materials into a truly elegant result. Because of the beauty of the product, it is a pleasure to use and it also functions as a decorative element in your beautiful kitchen when not in use.

The Pala Cutting Board is manufactured in Lahti, Finland from high quality solid oak or solid ash wood. Oak and ash grain patterns are at the same time subtle and quite surprising. The Pala Cutting Board is finished with paraffin oil. The solid wood cutting board surface is knife-friendly, and it is perfectly suited for cutting vegetables and bread. It is also suitable for various table settings.

Pala Cutting Board is designed by Kirsi Pasanen and Mikko Kentta and manufactured at Muoto2’s own factory in Lahti, Finland.

Care instructions:
Take care of your solid wood cutting board regularly – wooden cutting boards need to be kept clean. For daily maintenance, a good scrub with hot water after use, preferably on both sides, is enough. After the first washes the wooden surface might feel a bit rough and you might need to give it an oiling to help maintain the surface and keep it from drying out. This roughness will disappear with use. Do not soak your cutting board. Do not use a dishwasher. For meat products and fish we recommend a plastic cutting board.
